19-21 July 2014, Perpignan (France)

France is part of the MOS since its early days. After being held in Paris and Lyon the festival now resides in Perpignan, a very nice city in the south of the country attracting many high-level artists and thousands of spectators.

Perpignan is a commune and the capital of the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France with a population of 120.000 in the city proper.

The metropolitan area has a total population of 300,000 in 2010. The city is located south of France near to the spanish boarder.

Settlement in the area go back to Roman times. Medieval town seems to have been founded around early 10th century. Besieged, captured by the French during the 30Years’ War in 1642, it was ceded by Spain 17 years later and began to form part of the Kingdom of France.

Meeting of Styles Copenhagen goes digital this year! This means a smaller event with our Danish artists. With a focus on livestreaming, we invited a few good old friends to participate from the distance. One of these are EKLOR from Amsterdam, who joined us in 2018!

He dropped this amazing video about visiting Copenhagen and MosCph as an artist with his mates XCUZ and WYKER.

Follow him and the other artists on our upcoming digital event 17-18 July:

  • Akram Toujani aka Quick Pen from Tunisia: “MOS is a chance to learn more form each other”
We were looking forward to welcome Quick Pen at MOS Germany this year, but unfortunately the world is not free and he did not receive his visa to participate. Nevertheless we want to introduce you this artist and his works and hope he can make it in 2020. Finding my name started when I wanted…
  • Saki from San Diego (USA) “Transforming of letters into intergalactic funk”
In 1987 I went by the name Phantazm, but this became a little long, so I was itching for something new. I would shorten it to “Phan,” or use other aliases, but I wanted something permanent. A girl I was into at the time suggested the name “Saki.” I was already interested in Japanese culture…
  • JahOne from Sofia (Bulgaria) “Graffiti brings more beauty to the world”
Another guest at MOS Germany is JahOne from Bulgaria whose given his name by a friend while doing some “rough style.” He has been painting since 2010 and finds that painting walls is the best way for him to express himself.
